Happy Memorial Day! Last night I took a break from some charity crocheting that I have been doing, and worked on my Sock it to Me socks for a while. Didn't get too far - just too tired after reading Harry Potter #5 for a couple of hours.

Not doing much knitting lately, which is pretty weird since I've been on a roll. I've been mostly crocheting items for charity the past week.

I'm down to 2 pairs of socks on the needles - feels a little weird, but, on the other hand, it also feels really good for a change. One pair is made with Cascade Fixation - I only work on it on my breaks at lunch, so, it'll take a while, but on the other hand, it's also a quick knit. My other pair is toe up, Sock it to Me yarn, the "crayons" color - red, yellow, blue stripes, with the black/white jacquard in between. They are coming along - done the heel turn, now just deciding when I want to start ribbing, or if I want to do another pattern, or what I"m going to do with them.

I finally, at long last, finished my pair of blue/black/white Hot Socks. This was the socks from hell - only because I was SO bored with the yarn, bored with the socks, just bored! The first time I've ever been bored with a pair of socks, let me tell you.

I think I've been re-miss at posting finished pictures of the broadripple socks: that's hubby & I wearing our matching socks. And here's a photo of just my feet (I think *grin*):
